Long Covid

At Attend, we aim to support individuals with neurological long covid with managing long covid, accessing relevant services, and with returning to employment.

If you are recently dealing with some of the neurological challenges of long covid, then you know how difficult it can be to think clearly, communicate, concentrate, and maintain your energy levels. It can especially be difficult to find the confidence in getting back into normal life.

Long covid can affect an individual with everyday tasks, mental health, and socialisation. At Attend, we aim to support individuals with neurological long covid with managing long covid, accessing relevant services, and with returning to employment.

Our long covid projects are designed to help long covid patients and employers to understand more about how long covid can affect an individual, how to support the individual, how they can learn to cope and to develop their skill set to bring them further to acquiring and achieving their goals. We aim to increase the knowledge of how viral infections can affect an individual and to help individuals suffering with long covid in getting back to their wider community.

The Long Covid project encompasses a training course called “Understanding Long Covid”, which involve two key sessions:

  • Fatigue – understanding the effects of fatigue and strategies to cope
  • Brain fog – examining the symptoms of brain fog such as memory and carrying out tasks, how these are affected and strategies to help overcome these.
